VALTIMET SAS has had three plants since July 1997 in Europe, China and the US. In July 2004, a joint-venture company has been created with POONGSAN CORP. in South Korea with an additional facility. Being a fast growing company, Valtimet has strengthened its position in China by creating in 2005 a new joint-venture company, Xi'An Baotimet Valinox Tubes, with the local titanium producer Baoji Titanium Industry. In April 2006, Valtimet has also acquired the Indian company CST Ltd, renamed CST Valinox. Today, Valtimet has six state-of-the-art factories on 3 continents:
