VALTIMET has the means at its disposal to use the research laboratories within its mills and R&D Centers. In addition to our own plant laboratories, we have access, through our parent organization VALLOUREC, to the world's finest research facility specializing in stainless steel and titanium products.

This enables us to employ the industry's most sophisticated techniques and equipment for product optimization and process quality in order to maintain our industry leadership position. VALLOUREC's research center (CEV) backs the R&D teams in the mills by answering all fundamental questions relative to metallurgy, corrosion and NDT.

VALTIMET's application-oriented R&D teams are closely involved with the mills' daily challenges and at the same time are open to collaboration with our customers. They can quickly respond to requests for product, alloy data, technical information as well as specific customer needs.
